Matt moved to Priory Lane from Eastbourne United (Sussex County League) in July 2000, having been voted Player of the Year at the Oval.

Immensely skillful on the ball and very quick, 'Crabby' invariably picks up his fair share of knocks.  Fearless in the tackle, and an exciting player to watch; his dogged determination has made him a great favourite with the Priory Lane crowd. More of a provider than a prolific goalscorer, but capable of spectacular strikes.
