Eastbourne Borough FC is based at Langney Sports Club, and of course the football club was originally called Langney Sports FC. The clubhouse was built entirely by members of the Sports Club, all of which are closely associated with the Football Club, with the majority serving as members of the Football Commitee.
Langney Sports Club caters for all members of the local community: from the very young to the elderly.
The Social Club offers a wide range of facilities for adults (inlcuding the Afternoon Club for the Elderly), and now provides amenities for early years education, with the opening of the 'Owlets' pre-school nursery.
The Club has a restaurant, and the indoor bowls hall is amongst the best in the South East of England. There are also darts, snooker and pool teams, as well as an enthusiastic archery section. Highly successful and well-attended Bingo Evenings are held every Sunday evening.
There are two licensed bar areas: the main Sports Bar (with pool tables and large screen satellite TV), and Happy Jacks Bar, also with television.
The Sports Bar is open at lunchtime and in the evenings from Monday to Friday, with all day opening on Saturday and Sunday.
Membership New membership is only £6 per person, or £9 per family per annum, with reduced fees for membership renewals.
