Match Report:

The Sports hoped to renew their push for automatic promotion with a win over a struggling Weston Super Mare side. Scott Ramsay and Matt Crabb regained their staring positions for Boro but the home sides plans were wrecked inside the 1st 15 minutes. On 4 Ramsay was caught late and was replaced by Allan Tait on on 14 defensive rock Marc Pullan was forced off to be replaced by Andy Ballard. As the side re-adjusted Wilfried Domoraud latched onto a long ball and fired past Lee Hook for a surprising 1-0 lead.

This woke the home side who had shots blocked from Ballard and Andy Atkin; Kevin Sawyer keeping his side alive with some fine saves. Tait was himself replaced by Adam Wilde just before the half ended, and was to have an excellent influence on his side.

From the off Boro hit the post, bar and tested Sawyer via an Armstrong free-kick. Wilde, Armstrong and Crabb all fired over as The Sports peppered the visitors goal. Ashan Holgate received prolonged treatment and was replaced on 66 minutes but the home side finally levelled through Armstrong after some excellent football on 74 minutes. mart and Wilde had opportunities to take the lead for Boro before Path harding finished from close range after a Matt Crabb corner on 80 minutes.

The drama was not finished as Austin received a 2nd yellow with 4 minutes left and Domoraud poked home his 2nd of the match on 90 minutes to give the visitors an undeserved equaliser. As tempers flared Atkin received a straight red but Boro could not find the opening to claim all 3 points.
