The 1991/1992 season saw Langney Sports reach the final of the Sussex Senior Cup for the 1st time in their history. A real ‘David and Goliath’ match was expected with the opposition being Brighton & Hove Albion.

It may be of interest to note that in the Albion squad that day were Stuart Myall and Stuart Tuck, both of whom went on to play for Eastbourne Borough, as was Danny Simmonds who is not listed in the programme details. The 2 Stuarts did not make an appearance but Danny was a substitute for Simon Funnel
