Woking arrived at Eastbourne 4 points adfrift of the Priory Lane club. Danny Brown made his 2nd appearance for 'The Sports' partnering Matt Smart; skipper with Paul Armstrong sidelined through injury.

Boro, again, started brightly with Andy Atkin just beaten to a Matt Crabb cross by Lenny Pidgeley before the big No.9's shot; 1-on-1 with the keeper; was blocked by the ex-Chelsea keeper. Boro dominated the 1st half but again were to be frustrated in their efforts to score. Nathan Crabb's fine effort was saved on 11 minutes and later a cross to Atkin was blocked the shot from the re-bound across the face of goal. Woking too had chances - Paolo Vernazza and Liam Murum off target - Lee Hook turning a long range Murum free-kick onto the bar. On 42 minutes many in the ground waited for the penalty award as Colin Miles tripped Nathan Crabb on the edge of the area. The official dismissed the skipper but the awarded free-kick was blocked by the wall.

For the 2nd weak a change enforced on the opposition changed the game. The 2nd 45 saw the vsitors less adventurous with reduced numbers but this frustrated Boro and limited opportunities. Boro still dominated but Murum hit the post and with 10 minutes remaining Hook pulled off a remarkable save low to his right from Vernazza. In the closing moments Brown shot over and Atkin's effort from a left-wing cross was direct at Pidgeley.

The side performed well again against a big name in Non-League. Hoever again chances went begging with enough chances created to win several gamaes. Although frustration could often be felt in the crowd it was pleasing to see in excess of 1100 at 'The Lane' with very few from Surrey. It is hoped that these numbers remain high and get to see 3 points gained soon.
